Unrequited Love

Da Shan, from a poor family, rescued Qiu Ju, who had fallen and injured herself while gathering herbs in the mountains, by chance. From that moment on, Qiu Ju was captivated by this strong, helpful, and rough-around-the-edges man, developing feelings for him and inquiring about him in various ways. Da Shan, however, paid no attention to this and went on blind dates with the village matchmaker, Wang. But Wang, blinded by greed, introduced him to men who were either disabled or mentally challenged, ultimately forcing him to become a live-in son-in-law. Just when Da Shan was at a loss, Qiu Ju, accompanied by her cousin Zhang Xiaoya, arrived at Da Shan's home. She understood Da Shan's poverty and willingly agreed to marry him.
