I'm really an undercover agent for the enemy!

Gu Yang, a seemingly useless individual, transmigrates into a novel as an undercover agent for the Lingyun Society's Hailong Society. After taking a bullet for Ye Xijiu, he grants her the ability to hear her own thoughts. Ye Xijiu keeps him by her side, using his inner voice to uncover a conspiracy. The two develop feelings for each other, and Gu Yang resolves the crisis of his undercover identity, gaining Ye's father's approval. Gu Yang's childhood sweetheart, Bai Zhaoyue, both rivals and partners with Ye Xijiu. Her brother, Gu Mo, conspires with Ye Siyao to frame the two, but their attempt fails. After Ye's father's death, the two quell internal strife and eliminate their enemies. Gu Yang suffers amnesia but is awakened by Ye Xijiu. Ultimately, they overcome their family feud and become a couple.
