Private tutor

Zhou Jingran, a carefree rich kid, repeatedly drives away his tutors in his rebellion against his father's control and his stepmother's schemes. However, he is moved by the resilience of Xu Wanyi, an art tutor. He accidentally discovers that Xu Wanyi is suffering from domestic violence and financial exploitation by her husband, Chen Zhiqiang, and that Chen Zhiqiang is colluding with Zhou Jingran's stepmother, Gu Ting, to try and seize the Zhou family's fortune through Xu Wanyi. The two join forces to outwit Gu Ting and Chen Zhiqiang, exposing their improper relationship and conspiracy, and bringing them to justice. In their joint efforts, Zhou Jingran and Xu Wanyi gradually develop feelings for each other and eventually get together.
