A Thousand-Year Love: Hero Awakening

"A Thousand-Year Love" tells the coming-of-age story of a small-time character (the protagonist, Kongkong) as he struggles against hardship and injustice. Initially timid and unassuming, he makes a living selling wontons on the street. He dares not speak out against the thugs who constantly extort protection money from him, and is too shy to confess his feelings to the perfect goddess he falls for at first sight. However, when evil forces reach for his beloved, the flame of justice buried deep within him is finally rekindled. Inspired by his good friends Li Jiangang and Sha Wushe, he transforms from a cowardly weakling into a brave fighter who upholds justice and fights for love.
