My Two Little Flowers

Hongxia, a woman suffering a tragic fate, escapes her cruel in-laws and, with her daughter, encounters the elderly bachelor Mancang in her desperate situation. Mancang takes them in under the guise of father and daughter, and for eighteen years, through hardship and devotion, he creates a home for the mother and daughter that, while not quite a home, feels most like one. As time passes, misunderstandings and genuine affection intertwine, and Hongxia finally breaks free from her shackles, finds true love, and together with the kind-hearted Mancang, welcomes a bittersweet yet hopeful old age.
